Ben Richardson has lived in Fort Greene with his wife and two children since 2012. He first moved to Cobble Hill Brooklyn in 2005 after living for 10 years in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park neighborhood.
Ben joined the Board of the Fort Greene Association in January 2018, and he was voted the interim treasurer in June 2018. Since then, Ben has focused on digitizing many of the organization’s financial records. He is also an initiating member of the FGAs Technology, Marketing & Communications Committee, whose current project is rebranding the FGA and building a new website.
Professionally, Ben has worked for 20 years in digital advertising, sales, marketing, and management consulting. On the community front, Ben is interested in building positive relationships with local elected officials and helping to find ways to bring together the various communities within Fort Greene. He is also interested in expanding the reach of the FGA to be able to provide more robust programing to benefit local schools, small businesses, the homeless, and cultural institutions.
